DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS. 8 SWEET SUITES.
All accommodations are located on the 2nd floor (of a walk-up) and the spacious suites comfortably accommodate two. The suites are equipped with a Queen-sized bed, bluetooth Marshall speaker, cable TV with HBO and complimentary internet.
While some might refer to us as a B&B, we are not a typical B&B. There is no group breakfast though each suite has a kitchen pre-stocked with complimentary coffee, tea, boxed water, juice, milk, creamer, biscotti, cereal, pretzels, oatmeal and granola bars for two. Every item is selected with care. Our tea is sourced from a social enterprise in the historic Orange Mound section of Memphis that gives opportunities to women in difficult situations. Our art is nearly all sourced from local & regional artists. Our toilet paper- “Who Gives A Crap”- gives 50% of proceeds to build toilets in areas with substandard sanitary conditions. Our biscotti- Be Bop Biscotti- was created by a jazz loving pastry chef.
In an homage to Memphis as a music city, Suite 2 features a Kimball Oak baby grand piano that once belonged to Bobby Whitlock of Derek and the Dominos (and who chooses this suite as his own when in Memphis). Our accommodations are impeccably clean and we have many collaborations with local makers on the horizon!
SUITE TWO
Suite 2 is the largest of the one bedroom suites with a queen bed, a separate living room and a dining room table that seats 2-4. It has great light with the living room windows overlooking Second Street and the Peabody Hotel. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and basic cookware. Room 2 is most widely known for being the home of Bobby Whitlock’s Kimball baby grand piano. When Bobby’s in town, this room is booked! This suite comfortably accommodates 2 adults.
SUITE THREE
Suite 3 is a studio with a queen bed, sitting area, dining room table that seats 2-4 and a private outdoor seating area. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and basic cookware. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with no bathtub.
SUITE FOUR
Suite 4 is a one bedroom suite with a queen bed and a separate living room. This room has the original pink Tennessee marble floors and plantation shutters throughout. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and basic cookware. This suite comfortably accommodates 2 adults.
SUITE FIVE
Suite 5 is a studio with a queen bed, loveseat, a dining room table to accommodate 2-4 as well as a private outdoor seating area. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and basic cookware. This suite comfortably accommodates 2 adults.
SUITE SIX
Suite 6 is a one bedroom suite with a queen bed and a separate living room. This room has the original pink Tennessee marble floors in the living room and kitchen. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and basic cookware. This suite comfortably accommodates 2 adults.
SUITE SEVEN
Suite 7 is a studio with a queen bed, a sitting area and a private outdoor seating area. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, stove and basic cookware (no dishwasher and no microwave). This suite comfortably accommodates 2 adults.
SUITE EIGHT
Suite 8 is a one bedroom suite with a queen bed and a separate living room. The bathroom is accessed from the bedroom (the living room does not have direct access). The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and basic cookware. With plantation shutters and the original hardwood floors, this room has a very traditional feel. This suite comfortably accommodates 2 adults.
